Masters Hall of Fame to Celebrate Martial Arts Excellence in Columbus, Ohio

Columbus, Ohio (For Release) - The Masters Hall of Fame, an organization dedicated to Recognizing Excellence in the Martial Arts, will host its second 2016 Awards Banquet at the Sheraton Columbus Capitol Square Hotel on Saturday, June 18. Sifu Alan Goldberg, the CEO of Action Martial Arts Magazine and Associate Producer of The Martial Arts Kid, will be the keynote speaker for the evening ceremony, and Soke Gregg Wooldridge will host the evening as Master of Ceremonies.

The Masters Hall of Fame Awards Banquet honors members of the martial arts community for their dedication and contributions to the arts and the community. This year’s event will include a series of martial arts seminars presented by past inductees of the organization. The 2016 Awards Banquet Seminar presenters will include American Kenpo Karate Master Professor Bob White, five-time Kickboxing Champion Grandmaster Robert Parham, Cane Master Grandmaster Mark Shuey, and Dan “The Beast” Severn. All seminars are presented free of charge to attendees.

Keynote speaker Sifu Goldberg has dedicated his personal and professional life to promoting and teaching the martial arts. In addition to his work in martial arts publishing and film, he is a successful businessman who believes in giving back to the community. Sifu Goldberg has served on the board of the Arnold Sports Festival, along with his involvement in other charitable organizations.

Master of Ceremonies Soke Wooldridge is a 10th Degree Black Belt in Kang-Chuan-Do with over three decades of experience in the martial arts. He is retired from the Inglewood Police Department, where he was awarded the Medal of Valor, and now serves as an Executive Protection Agent.
